Bridging Digital Activism and Community Power
We build tools and resources that transform online energy into organized community power for democracy and climate action.
We are a small, independent team of concerned citizens who recognized the urgent need to bridge two critical gaps: between digital activism and real-world organizing, and between democracy preservation and climate action. Our backgrounds span technology, organizing, education, and civic engagement, but we're united by a shared belief that lasting change requires moving from clicks to community power.
This civic tech project emerged from countless conversations with activists, organizers, and everyday citizens who felt the frustration of viral campaigns that fade without creating lasting change. We saw passionate people burning out on endless social media cycles while real community-led initiatives happened in isolation from digital tools that could amplify their political organizing efforts.
Democracy and climate stability are survival issues that transcend party lines. We believe that effective community organizing, enhanced by thoughtful civic tech solutions and strategic political organizing, offers the best path forward for addressing both crises simultaneously.
Through research, resources, and practical guides, we help people-powered movements bridge the gap between online activism and the sustained, relationship-based organizing that wins campaigns and changes systems.
We're living through a unique historical moment where civic tech has unprecedented power to connect and mobilize people, while traditional democratic institutions face serious threats. Meanwhile, the window for preventing catastrophic climate change continues to narrow.
Many people feel overwhelmed by these challenges and uncertain how their individual actions can make a difference. We believe that community organizing—enhanced by but not dependent on digital tools—offers the most promising path for creating the scale of change these crises demand. By supporting local organizing networks with practical resources for political organizing, we help transform frustration into effective action.
This project operates independently of political parties, corporate interests, or large advocacy organizations. We're funded by our own contributions and maintain editorial independence to focus solely on what serves community organizers and civic engagement.
While we collaborate with other organizations and movements, we believe this independence allows us to provide resources that prioritize community needs over institutional interests.
Occasional updates and organizing resources. We check messages weekly but posting is sporadic.
